Why Bella Vista Homeowners Choose Hello Gravel
Bella Vista has a city population of 30,170 and sits within a broader metro area of 2.5+ million residents. A steady growth rate of 1.20% annually suggests ongoing demand for home improvements, infill development, and infrastructure work—all projects that rely on reliable supplies of bulk materials. With 228 sunny days per year, a temperate hardiness zone of 8b, and 34.25 inches of annual rainfall, local projects must balance sun exposure and periodic heavy rain. That climate and geography drive needs for good drainage bases, erosion-control aggregates, stable topsoils, and UV-resistant surface materials. Homeowners tackling patios, pathways, grading, or planting increasingly prioritize locally sourced, high-quality bulk materials to reduce rework and support long-term performance.Popular Projects in Bella Vista This Season

Frequently Asked Questions - Bella Vista Gravel Delivery
Everything you need to know about gravel delivery in Bella Vista.
Start by matching the material to the job: base layers need stability, surface layers need good drainage and the look you want. Consider traffic, slope, and drainage on your property and how much maintenance you want to do. Because regional supply varies, use an online material calculator or contact our team to compare options for gravel, sand, dirt, stone and find what works best in Bella Vista's terrain.
Bulk aggregates are used for driveways and parking pads, walkways and patios, drainage trenches, erosion control, garden beds and grading work. They also serve as base material for hardscapes and as backfill around foundations or utilities. Tell us the project type and we can recommend suitable mixes and typical depths for your job.
Bella Vista has rolling, often wooded terrain and a humid climate with heavy summer rain and occasional freeze-thaw cycles, so drainage and erosion control are important. Choose materials and grading that shed water, use well-draining mixes on slopes, and consider heavier, angular aggregates for areas with vehicle traffic. Local sourcing means look and texture can vary, so plan for regional characteristics when selecting materials.
Spring and fall are the busiest seasons for deliveries, so plan ahead and book early to secure your preferred date. Standard delivery takes 2+ business days; next-day delivery is available for orders placed before noon CST for an additional fee. Avoid heavy rain windows if possible and allow time for site prep so crews can work efficiently when materials arrive.
Delivery fees depend on your zip code, distance from the supplier, order size, truck access, and any special handling or staging needs. Many local orders qualify for free delivery, while longer hauls or tight-access drops can add a modest fee; common local ranges run from no fee up to a few hundred dollars. Check availability and pricing for your zip code (for example 72714) at checkout or contact our team for a tailored quote.
Yes—many drivers operate large dump trucks and need clear, level access, enough turning radius, and legal street access; narrow roads, low overhead lines, steep driveways, or weight-restricted roads can limit drop locations. If your property is in an HOA, on a private lane, or has special permitting needs, let us know at booking so we can coordinate with the hauler. Tailgate spreading can sometimes be done but is at the driver’s discretion and not guaranteed.
Contractors often place orders in advance, schedule specific delivery windows, and stage materials where crews can access them easily to minimize rehandling. For larger jobs they split deliveries into multiple loads timed to installation pace, and they communicate staging and access instructions through the order notes. Contact our team early to discuss large or phased deliveries so we can coordinate supplier and hauler availability.
Use the basic volume formula: length x width x depth to get cubic feet, divide by 27 to convert to cubic yards, and then convert to tons if needed (material density varies by type). Typical depths vary by use—top dressings are often 2–4 inches, structural bases 4–8 inches or more—so choose a depth based on the project. Our online material calculator can do the math for you and estimate how many tons to order for gravel, sand, dirt, stone and other aggregates.
Sometimes. Driveway expansions, new curb cuts, major grading, or anything affecting public right-of-way may require city or county permits, and many HOAs have rules on surface materials and curb appeal. Check with the City of Bella Vista, Benton County, and your HOA before ordering large quantities or changing driveway locations to avoid fines or rework.
Think about how much traffic the area will get, how often you want to maintain it, and how long you need it to last; higher-density, angular mixes typically last longer with less maintenance but cost more up front. Decorative mixes cost more but require less structural performance, while loose, fine materials are cheaper but may need more frequent replenishing. We can help you compare options for gravel, sand, dirt, stone so you can pick the best balance for your budget and use.
Because materials are regionally sourced, color and texture can vary from photos—this is normal. If you have a specific appearance in mind, request samples or note preferences at checkout and contact customer service if the delivery does not meet your expectations. We will work with you and the supplier to address issues according to our policies.
Drivers may be able to place material in tighter spots or perform tailgate spreading, but this is assessed on arrival for safety and feasibility and is not guaranteed. If precise placement or spreading is required, consider hiring a local contractor or landscaping crew to receive the load and finish the work. You can add placement instructions in the Order Notes and we will pass them to the hauler for review.
As of today, we require 2 business days for delivery.
