Why Junction Homeowners Choose Hello Gravel
Junction is a small community with a population of 161 located within a rapidly growing West Utah metro area of 2.5+ million. That 2.10% annual growth rate translates into steady demand for housing improvements, landscaping updates, and local infrastructure work—driving increased purchases of bulk materials for driveways, drainage, yard renovations, and new construction. Junction’s climate (228/year sunny days and 34.32 inches of rain annually, USDA hardiness zone 8b) favors materials that balance drainage, erosion control, and heat tolerance. Homeowners and contractors benefit from regionally sourced aggregates, soils, mulches, and sands that promote stable foundations, manage stormwater, and support plantings through long sunny seasons. Because local geology affects texture and color, choosing quality bulk supplies matters for both performance and curb appeal.Popular Projects in Junction This Season

Frequently Asked Questions - Junction Gravel Delivery
Everything you need to know about gravel delivery in Junction.
Choose based on the job you need done: load-bearing areas and driveways need more durable, compacting-friendly materials; drainage or erosion control needs more permeable, coarser materials. Consider local climate, slope, and appearance preferences since regional sourcing affects texture and color. Use our material calculator or contact our sales team for guidance so you pick the right gravel, sand, dirt, stone mix for your project.
Calculate cubic yards with: area (sq ft) x depth (in inches) ÷ 324 to get cubic yards, then convert to tons using a material-specific factor (materials commonly range from about 1.2 to 1.7 tons per cubic yard). Our online calculator can do this automatically and helps you pick a safe buffer for compaction and settling. If you prefer, call or text our team with project dimensions for a quick estimate.
We serve many rural and remote addresses but delivery depends on road conditions, truck access, turnaround space, and weight limits. Provide detailed directions, gate codes, photos, and notes at checkout so suppliers can assess feasibility; we may follow up if special equipment or an alternate drop location is needed. Some remote deliveries may incur extra fees or require smaller trucks.
Standard delivery generally takes 2 or more business days, and next-day delivery is available for orders placed before noon CST for an extra fee. You choose a preferred delivery date at checkout and will receive a confirmation; drivers typically give an arrival window but exact times are not guaranteed. For tight schedules, order early and contact support to discuss priority options.
Drivers may be able to perform tailgate spreading at their discretion and if it can be done safely, but this service is not guaranteed. You can request spreading at checkout and add notes about the location and desired coverage, but expect the driver to assess conditions on arrival. For larger or precise spreading jobs, consider hiring a local contractor.
Materials reflect the local geology, so color, texture, and exact particle shape will vary across suppliers in the West Utah area. These natural variations can affect appearance and drainage behavior, so photos should be considered representative samples rather than exact matches. Add color or texture preferences in Order Notes and contact our team for recommendations tailored to Junction's conditions.
Clear the drop area of vehicles, low-hanging wires, landscaping, and other obstacles, and mark the exact drop spot clearly with flags or stakes. Check local rules for road or shoulder drops; some streets or county roads may require permits for truck parking or blocking traffic. Also call 811 to mark utilities before digging or spreading material to avoid damage.
For drainage and erosion control choose materials with good permeability and angular particles that lock together when needed; larger, coarser mixes generally allow water to pass while resisting washout. Combine appropriate grading, vegetation, and proper slope management for best results, and consult our team to match a material to your slope, soil type, and seasonal runoff patterns. Installation technique is as important as material choice for lasting results.
Junction experiences seasonal freeze-thaw and variable moisture, so choose materials and installation timing that account for frost heave and erosion risk. Installations done in dryer seasons generally compact better, while wet or frozen ground can affect compaction and settling. Ask our team about material and timing recommendations based on local conditions to reduce future maintenance.
Pricing includes the material cost, delivery, and any applicable local fees, with a minimum order of 3 tons. Next-day delivery, difficult access, smaller truck requirements, or special services may add fees; taxes and any permit costs are additional. You will see total price and available delivery options in checkout before you pay.
Contact our team as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order; it's easier to modify before the order is processed or trucks are dispatched. We will do our best to accommodate requests but some changes may not be possible once the supplier or hauler is engaged. See our order and refund policy for details and contact info.
Provide clear written directions, gate codes, photos of the site, and mark the preferred drop spot with flags or cones at least a day before delivery. Indicate any obstacles, fragile landscaping, overhead wires, or low-clearance areas and note if a second location is acceptable. The driver will make the final decision based on safety and access, so the more detail you provide the smoother the delivery will go.
As of today, we require 2 business days for delivery.
