Why Many Farms Homeowners Choose Hello Gravel
Many Farms is a small, growing community of 1,144 residents situated in a sunny, semi-arid part of West Arizona. With a steady 2.00% annual growth rate, homeowners and local builders are adding new landscaping, driveways, and foundation work that all depend on consistent, well-placed earth. The area averages 228 sunny days per year and receives 34.25 inches of rain annually, while sitting in hardiness zone 8b—conditions that create a need for materials that balance drainage, compaction, and erosion resistance. For Many Farms homeowners, dependable aggregates are essential to prevent washouts during seasonal storms, stabilize building pads under intense sun, and create buildable grade for new construction or garden beds.Popular Projects in Many Farms This Season

Frequently Asked Questions - Many Farms fill-dirt Delivery
Everything you need to know about fill-dirt delivery in Many Farms.
Delivered fill-dirt prices in Many Farms typically run in a range because of regional hauling costs and supplier availability. Expect roughly $20 to $45 per ton delivered as a general estimate; exact pricing depends on your zip code, truck access, and current supplier rates. Get a firm quote through our checkout or by contacting our team with your address.
A 5-yard load of fill-dirt is roughly 6 to 7 tons depending on moisture and composition, so multiply that tonnage by the per-ton price. At an estimated $20 to $45 per ton, a 5-yard delivery will typically cost about $130 to $320 delivered, plus any remote-area or small-load fees. Remember our minimum order is 3 tons, so confirm availability and delivery fees for your exact address.
A typical tri-axle dump truck carries about 12 to 16 cubic yards (roughly 15 to 21 tons of fill-dirt). Using the per-ton range above, a full truck can cost roughly $300 to $950 delivered in Many Farms depending on how many yards the truck holds and local hauling fees. For exact pricing and truck sizes available in your area, request a quote with your delivery address.
Hello Gravel requires a minimum order (generally 3 tons) for delivery through our platform, so one-yard drop-offs into a pickup are usually not offered. Some local suppliers or landscapers may make small deliveries but often charge minimum-load or convenience fees that make small orders pricey. Contact our team for options or consider renting a small trailer/tractor and ordering the minimum if you only need a small amount.
Bulk fill-dirt is almost always less expensive per cubic yard or per ton than bagged topsoil because you avoid packaging and handling costs. Bagged soil products can cost several times more per cubic yard than bulk deliveries; for Many Farms that typically means bagged material could be 3 to 5 times more expensive if you converted to the same volume. For larger projects, bulk delivery is virtually always the more cost-effective choice.
Hello Gravel lists many bulk materials by the ton and enforces a minimum order of 3 tons, though some local suppliers may quote by the cubic yard. Pricing by the ton is often more consistent because soil density varies; for projects that need precise cover or compaction, ordering by ton avoids underestimating weight. If your job is volume-based (like spreading loose fill over a large area), confirm whether the supplier quotes by yard or ton and ask us to help convert quantities.
Yes. Our platform generally requires a minimum order of 3 tons, and remote locations like Many Farms can incur additional charges such as long-drive fees, small-load surcharges, or access-related fees. Drivers may also charge extra for restricted dump points, stairs, or if a permit is required, so include delivery details at checkout and contact our team for any special access notes. We recommend checking your zip code in checkout to see specific fees before ordering.
To cover 1 acre: 6 inches of fill requires about 806 cubic yards (roughly 1,048 tons) and 1 foot requires about 1,615 cubic yards (roughly 2,100 tons), using a typical conversion for fill-dirt. At an estimated $20 to $45 per ton delivered in Many Farms, a 6-inch fill would run roughly $21,000 to $47,000 and a 1-foot fill roughly $42,000 to $95,000, not including staging, spreading, or compaction. Large jobs like this usually require phased deliveries, a site visit, and a custom quote, so contact our team to plan logistics and get an exact price.
Tailgate spreading may be possible at the driver's discretion and can be requested at checkout, but it is not guaranteed and is not equivalent to professional spreading or compaction. Professional spreading and mechanical compaction are typically provided by local contractors rather than included with delivery; rates commonly range from about $5 to $20 per cubic yard depending on scope and equipment. We recommend hiring a local landscaper or compaction contractor for graded or structural fills and we can help connect you with partners in your area.
Standard delivery lead time is 2+ business days, and next-day delivery is sometimes available for orders placed before noon CST with an extra fee. In remote areas like Many Farms, supplier availability and truck routing can increase lead times, so same-week delivery depends on scheduling and stock. Use our checkout calendar or contact our team to see available delivery dates for your zip code and to reserve a preferred delivery day.
As of today, we require 2 business days for delivery.
